No Surcharges for Stairs or Access
Stairs, narrow hallways, tight turns, long carries, furniture disassembly and reassembly. We just work the hours.
Prorated in 15-Minute Increments
After the minimum is met, billing prorates every 15 minutes. You only pay for the time we actually work.

How Hourly Pricing Works
A few things every customer should know before booking. No fine print hidden at the end.
Minimum time per job
Every move has a minimum booking. Once met, billing prorates in 15-minute increments, so you only pay for the time we actually work.
California double drive time
California regulation requires movers to double actual transit time between pickup and delivery. It's billed as part of the total hours. Travel between our warehouse and your first address is not charged.
$100 non-refundable deposit
A $100 deposit secures your move date and applies to the final invoice. If you reschedule, the deposit transfers to the new date.
Basic cargo liability
$0.60 per pound per damaged item is included under California state regulation. Third-party extra coverage is available if you want full-replacement protection on high-value items.
All card payments: 3% processing fee
We accept cash, check, and credit/debit. Card payments carry a 3% processing fee. Pay by cash or check to avoid it.
300+ lb items need advance notice
Safes, gym equipment, pianos, and other 300+ lb pieces need a heads-up at booking so we can bring the right crew size and equipment.
Parking and permits
Customer handles legal parking and any required temporary parking permits at both the pickup and delivery address. In San Francisco, SFMTA permits are required for truck parking.

All local and residential moves are hourly. We don't quote flat rates on moves with variable time, access, or packing status. Pricing is explained upfront, minimums are clear, and billing prorates in 15-minute increments after the minimum. Long-distance moves use binding estimates, and standard single-item deliveries can sometimes be quoted flat. Ask for details on those specific services.
